The concept to be developed for Central Regional Hospital is based upon the idea of a "horizonal perspective". The overall interior will possess color, lighting, patterns, and objects of horizon scenes. The purpose is to create not only a relaxing and enriching environment, but to also provide the idea that the clients have a bright and vast life possibilities ahead of them.

Lighting: cove, wallwashers, decorative recessed can, horizontal built-in sconces, larger window in client rooms for daylight
Voids: General areas ill have open pathways, cove lighting and very a line of sight is important for patient monitoring. Patient rooms convert to larger windows, a desk with kneespace, and open storage.
Solids: heavy and light furnishings in patient common areas and bedrooms, secured beds, lower ceiling heights, partition in activity room to create 2 separate visible areas
